What is Cyera?
A Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) platform. It discovers where your sensitive data lives across SaaS, IaaS, cloud storage and databases, who has access, and what risks attach to it.
How is DSPM different to DLP?
DLP stops sensitive data leaving at runtime. DSPM finds it, classifies it, and shows the access and exposure picture at rest. They are complementary; we use Cyera for DSPM and Microsoft Purview + Netskope for DLP.
Why is DSPM critical before AI?
AI tools surface what users can already access. Without knowing where your sensitive data lives and who can reach it, you cannot safely turn on Copilot. Cyera gives you that picture so you can fix permissions before AI exposes them. See AI security.
What does it cover?
AWS, Azure, GCP, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Snowflake, databases and file shares, plus most major SaaS. Agentless and API-based.
How long does it take to deploy?
Discovery starts within days of granting API access. A meaningful posture picture for an average estate is usually available in 2 to 4 weeks.

Yes, for different jobs. Purview is your label, classification and DLP engine inside M365. Cyera maps the broader estate (cloud, SaaS, databases). They feed each other.
